Sales Representative Management
A field sales team is only as good as its information. Distribook gives reps what they need in the shop, and gives managers an honest picture of the day.
What you get
The capabilities that matter most, at a glance. The detail is further down if you want it.
What this outlet bought, what it stopped buying and what it owes — on the rep’s phone, in the shop.
Assigned outlets per rep per day, sequenced so coverage rises without more driving.
Time and GPS captured at check-in, with reasons recorded for every no-sale.
Taken against live stock and live pricing, so nothing is promised that cannot be delivered.
Measures outlets actually served, not just visits logged — and lists the ones going quiet.
Promotions, payment reminders and visit notifications, scheduled from the same customer data.
In depth
The most valuable thirty seconds in field sales happen when the rep is standing in front of the shop owner. If the rep can see what this outlet bought last month, which items it has stopped ordering, what it currently owes and whether any cheque has bounced, the conversation changes entirely.
Distribook puts that history on the rep’s phone. Orders are taken against the live catalogue and live stock, so nothing is promised that cannot be delivered, and collections are receipted on the spot.
Counting visits rewards the wrong behaviour. Distribook reports on coverage — how many of the assigned outlets in a territory were actually visited and productive within the cycle — alongside orders, value and collections. Outlets that have not been visited or have stopped ordering are surfaced automatically as a follow-up list.
Managers can compare reps and routes on the same basis, and see where a territory has grown large enough to split.
Field-entered customer data degrades quickly: duplicate outlets, three spellings of the same shop, mobile numbers shared between records. Distribook includes tools for exactly this — duplicate mobile number detection, customer update requests that a manager approves before the master record changes, and a customer map that makes geographic duplicates obvious.
Clean customer data is what makes territory planning, SMS campaigns and credit control possible later.
